Taking on Google

Miscrosoft has just launched their much anticipated Google killer, MSN Search.

What is REALLY amazing is that I am the first two(!) responses when googling for myself on MSN. I did the same search on Google just this week and I was not within the first 60 hits.

Hmm, did you notice I used the more recent 'Google as a verb' to indicate 'search on the web' even though I used a different search engine? I typed as I thought and "Oh my, this will interesting."

I don't like it. But then again, I do not come up in the top 15.

What really alarmed me was that I do come up #1 now in google, and just last week I thought I tried this and didn't.

Amazingly enough, search for me also returns my website as the first link. This is especially interesting given that my site appears to be down at the moment. I used to be the first link on Google, but my site went down for quite a while, and I fell off of the Google search results altogether. Google has never picked me up again since that happened.
